Peter Max Lawrence is an artist and filmmaker. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas where he began his career by organizing alternative space and independent exhibitions. Lawrence's videos, performances, and paintings/drawings have been presented at various galleries and private collections internationally. He directed and starred in his first feature-length film, Queer in Kansas (2007). Lawrence is currently working on several projects and collaborations with other musicians, writers, and visual artists. He lives in San Francisco.
