Jason P. Potter proudly refuses to be defined. At base, he is an occupational dreamer with a deep fear of desks, and of authority. He spends more time poking on Facebook, concepting new media projects, and foraging in thrift stores for old cameras and elusive Hermes ties than befits a man with an educational debt that rivals the GNPs of a handful of small nations. Jason is a professional rogue. A rogue professional? Something like that .... With an extremist's vigor, Jason left his career as a successful actor in the Broadway production of MAMMA MIA! upon his admission to NYU School of Law. His jonesin' for knowledge earned him the highest year-end GPA of any other class-member, the Newman Graduation Prize, a tenure as the Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Review of Law & Social Change, swift admission to the State Bar of California, and an associateship at an elite law firm. He quit that career, too. Which brings us relatively up to date. Although Jason continues to be an active member of the California Bar, he is happier being known as one of the few San Francisco photographers to actually invoke a HAZMAT visit. His resume is available-- in convenient flow-chart form--along with his portfolio, at Potterpix.com.
